DAY 1: Ho Chi Minh City - Bến Tre - Mekong Homestay Experience
8:00 AM - Departure from Ho Chi Minh City
Leave Ho Chi Minh City for Bến Tre. Upon arrival, board your boat for a scenic cruise along the Hàm Luông River to Long Thành Island. Visit Mr. Út Việt's Family Home, where you'll be warmly welcomed with seasonal tropical fruits and a refreshing cup of local honey tea.
11:00 AM - Village Exploration
Continue your cruise toward Mỏ Cày, stopping to visit a traditional coconut processing workshop and a coconut candy workshop to discover how Bến Tre's famous coconut products are made.
Travel by xe lam (local motor cart) through the peaceful countryside and visit a family-run broom-making workshop. Afterwards, enjoy a relaxing hand-rowed sampan ride along the narrow coconut-lined canals before arriving at a local home for a delicious lunch featuring authentic Mekong Delta specialties.
2:00 PM - Countryside Walk
After lunch, take a leisurely walk around the village to experience the peaceful rural atmosphere and gain a deeper understanding of local daily life.
2:30 PM - Homestay Check-in & Village Cycling
Transfer to Nhị Hòa Village and check in at Quốc Đạt Homestay. Take some time to relax before setting off on a leisurely bicycle ride through the countryside.
Visit local families and experience traditional village crafts, including making rice cakes, tasting locally produced rice wine, preparing Vietnamese pancakes (bánh xèo), and exploring a beautiful bonsai garden. Cycle back to the homestay for some free time to unwind.
7:00 PM - Home-Cooked Dinner & Cultural Exchange
Join your host family in preparing dinner and learn how traditional Mekong Delta dishes are made. Enjoy a home-cooked meal featuring local specialties.
After dinner, relax with a cup of tea while chatting with your host family and learning more about their daily life and local traditions.

DAY 2: Local Market – Cao Đài Temple – Departure
7:30 AM - Breakfast & Local Market Visit
Enjoy breakfast at the homestay before cycling to Nhị Hòa Local Market. Experience the lively morning atmosphere, browse fresh local produce and handmade goods, and enjoy the warm hospitality of the local people, who are always happy to greet visitors with a friendly "Xin chào."
9:00 AM - Visit Cao Đài Temple
Continue to a local Cao Đài Temple to learn about the unique Cao Đài religion, one of southern Vietnam's most fascinating spiritual traditions, and gain insight into its beliefs, architecture, and cultural significance.
10:00 AM - Check-out
Cycle back to the homestay, check out, and prepare for your onward journey.
10:30 AM - Departure
Depart for Ho Chi Minh City, or continue your Mekong Delta adventure to your next destination. You may choose to visit the Khmer villages in Trà Vinh or continue to Cần Thơ, approximately 90 km away.
